I was born in the earlier half of the 1980s, so have lucid memories of things like Italia '90, Supersplits and the coal man. I'm from Dublin, which is nice, and was fortunate enough to grow up in a wildly entertaining and talented family who didn't disown me when I announced I was dropping out of University (where I was studying Politics) to move to London.
I hightailed it across the water to do my foundation in Central Saint Martins in 2004. I 'specialised' in illustration. That's where I first crossed paths with Jade. This encounter was later to become a manic partnership of sleep deprivation, forests of scrap paper, sore throats from laughing and a shared love of the Travelling Willburys.
We set off to BA Graphic Design in 2005. Again, Saint Martins all the way. Aside from the complex problem of how we're going to fit my hair under a cap come graduation day we generally concern ourselves with creative work that (hopefully) people find entertaining and/or engaging (I wanted to write 'winsome' there, but decided to run with 'engaging').
If I could have done anything in the world I would want to have written Dr. Strangelove. I quote from it like they're my own jokes when in conversation with unsuspecting acquaintances. I do that with P.G. Wodehouse too.
So, to summarise:
Irish. Alternate-life Political Journalist. Saint Martins attendee. Also available in Asian. Big hair. Winsome. Plagiariser of deceased genius whilst at dinner parties.
Please peruse our little site at your leisure. Please get in touch if you have a gap in your lovely agency that you think Jade and I may fill in.
You have nice hair.
