Friday night Matt had his solo show, off Curtin Rd. The gallery was filled with ex-Saint Martins successes, the fash' kids types randomly... Geri Halliwell. The showcase of photographs were taken over the past four years, including works from Matt's time at Less Common, Dazed & Confused and I-D.
Matt has been working closely with Gareth Pugh and Daphne Guinness in the lead up to fashion week. This month's Time Out, is a fashion special edited by Gareth Pugh and shows behind the scenes of the cover shot.
Gary Card also from Saint Martin's was there and features in Time Out too. He is the king of set design, at the moment. Gary told us his plans for New York in the coming year.
Good luck to all our friend's next week, when I asked Jackie Grubbs, (final year womenswear) 'who's the one's to watch?' she replied 'watch everyone!'
Exciting times.
Anyone who plans on heading to the Double Club this week, you're highly unlikely to get in. Doesn't matter who you know on the door, the fash' bash is taking over.
